our story

One of the biggest barriers that stop people from staying in shelters is that most places actually don’t allow pets.

Why does this matter?

Because pets often provide companionship & a sense of safety, especially when folks are experiencing hardship. This is why we’re giving a portion of our profits to support pet-friendly shelters.

Fun fact: Basenji-bit was inspired by the memory of our good boy that we lost to cancer on July 2021.

  • NFT stands for “Non-fungible token”, which is a fancy way to say that you can buy, own, and trade a unique digital item.

    When your purchase a Basenji-bit NFT, you would then own this one-of-a-kind collectible.

    1. Create a Coinbase account and purchase Ethereum cryptocurrency (ETH)

    2. Download Metamask Chrome extension.

    3. Load it with ETH through Coinbase.

    4. Then, create an Opensea account by connecting your Metamask account.

    5. Go to the Basenji-bit collection, where you can see 100 unique basenji NFTs.

    6. Choose your favorite Basenji-bit, hit “Buy Now”, and follow the instructions.

  • The first mint was on December 24, 2021.
